about

One of West End Records biggest anthems 'Let's go dancing', that has stood the test of time for the last 30+ years, is now re-imagined for the next generation by Midnight Riot Records.

Originally written in 1981 by prodigious underground producer Larry Joseph and mixed by Larry Levan & Francois K, this is a song all about having fun, partying & losing yourself in the music,

Prodigious underground NYC producer Larry Joseph's Sparque project turned in a handful of classic 12's for West End Records & "Let's go dancing" is probably the most well known of all of them. Larry also turned out other smashes including 'Take some time' & 'Music turns me on'.

All the production hallmarks of the orignal are present, live guitar & bass, a thumping mini moog, the iconic piano refrain with Suk Soul featuring on lead vocals & Bv's plus with a new arrangement by Yam Who?. It's another bonafide Midnight Riot classic, ready to rock the dance floors, with added modern punch!
