Midnight Riot proudly presents a timeless anthem of proto-house magic: the iconic NYC Loft & Paradise Garage classic, 'Set Fire To Me'. This track, once a staple of Ron Hardy's Chicago sets, and an early deep house gem that has left an indelible mark on the late 80s UK acid house revolution.

The original version released on Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss, A&M Records in 1986 and mixed at Blank Tapes NYC is a unique fusion of pure Puerto Rican rhythms, house beats, disco grooves, Latin flair, synth melodies, and funky vibes. Now meticulously crafted for a new generation, a collaboration with a stellar ensemble of session musicians, featuring vocals of American Brian Lucas & Italian songstress Mara Mirra on backing vocals.

Also among this talented lineup, we have the legendary Edgar Garcia on double bass, whilst Lil Rico provides the rhythms, with all additional parts replayed courtesy of Yam Who? & Brian Lucas with the expert touch of Mr Smith on arrangement.
